Senior Samantha Bird is in her first year on Ramparts staff. She is so excited to be a part of this team. She enjoys being able to connect to her community and share information. On top of being a dancer and Captain on the Holt Varsity Dance Team and at Karyn's Dance Place, she is the President of the Ingham County Youth Commission and Co-President of the Interact Club. She plays the French Horn and is the announcer for the Holt Ram Marching Band. She's a member of NHS and a leader of her youth group. Sam is in love with her 3 cats and she loves traveling the world. Staying busy, getting involved in many activities, and spending time with her friends and family is how she enjoys her free time. She hopes that journalism will benefit her in her future career goals.
